Built in 1925 in Essex, Massachusetts, Roseway has had an adventurous 82 years. She has been a fishing vessel in the Grand Banks, a pilot boat in Boston harbor, a Coast Guard reserve vessel during World War II, and a windjammer along the coast of Maine. What We Do

World Ocean School is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide educational programs focused on community building for young people aboard Roseway. We serve our mission by providing junior high school programs to local youth in St. Croix, USVI in the winter and spring and a range of programs in the Northern Atlantic during the summer.
